You might say that spending summer in the city has to be boring.  You couldn’t be more wrong. A very fascinating attraction waiting for you in Krakow is go-karting. Go-karting has been increasingly popular in Poland and this may be related to Robert Kubica’s joining the ranks of Formula 1. It is perfect for all those who are tired of traffic jams and speed cameras but not only. Everyone who likes to feel a bit of adrenaline will find  this activity extremely attractive. There are two tracks available in Krakow, that is: Indoor track – the newest one in the city. It is located in the city centre and is available all year round. Five karts can race simultaneously there, the professionally made track is 400m long and an additional attraction is a bar for toasting the winners. Moreover, each lap is measured so you can compare your results with your friends. As to the outdoor track – offering fun alternative for speed lovers – there is a Motodrom Go-Karting, located in the parking lot of the former ‘Hotel Forum’. It is particularly popular among locals. A lot of young people come here to hear the roar of engines, to smell burnt rubber and fuel and especially to race with their friends, wave to the crowds and enjoy their time. After the race one receives a print of times to see who is the best driver. The track is open at midday until 10.00 p.m. If you are interested in this activity make sure to book a slot for yourself  in advance because particularly weekends are very busy and many people decide to come there. Go-karting is very entertaining and ideal for people who like competition and have fighting spirit, so do not hesitate, come and try!
